Default Good honda tech.

I sure some of you guys know of a good honda tech. I am new to the area and dont want to take my car to the dealership to get fixed. I tried to fix it myself but no luck. the speedo doesnt work, ive replaced the speed sensor and the gauge cluster and the ecu. I put in the new sensor and it worked for about 5 miles and jumped around for a second and quit working again. so i think its going to be something electrical. any help would be greatful!

I would imagine you are having problems with the connector on the speed sensor itself.

However, if you are looking for a good mechanic, see anyone from CMS, LHT or Durdan Perfab.... Do a search and you will find them.

talk about a thread hijack...but nonetheless.
I would be willing to wager the when you turn the key to the on postition without starting, that the alternator (battery) light isn't lighting up like it should ..hmmm? Also the sppedometer not working?
These are all caused by the same fuse...#15 under the dash is usually the cause.
