Default sohc turbos.........

who all has a sohc turbo and how do you like the performance of it,i was thinking of boosting mine soon but wanna see who all here is already boosting a sohc, and what the best set-up is.i dont wanna spend to much something cheap but decent, just enough to run at like 7-9/10lbs cause im wanting to go dohc in a few months after i get some cash saved up w/this new job.but if im running at low boost i dont need any fuel management do i?just want to play w/ it for a little bit.

Might wanna try Honda/Acura Tech for this one, you'd get more responses in there.

If I were you, I'd pay somebody to install a turbo.....

Why not just wait until you swap?

if plan on boosting any motor i would run an upgraded full management regardless...on mine with 8 pounds i was going to run 450cc's and a 255 fuelpump, chipped ecu..completly stock motor, and a cheaply put together kit. But thats all sold, and doing a build on a SOHC.

you'll need fuel managment... you could use a 12:1 FMU but don't reccoment going over 7-9lbs... stock injectors may even hold up to a small turbo, but DSM 450cc's are cheap.

I have both DSM 450's and an FMU along with a turbo manifold/downpipe and turbo I could get rid of if someone brought cash

You would be missing IC piping, IC and bolt up your exhaust you would be done.

P.S. the FMU will increase fuel line pressure and can make them pop causing a fire... just so I don't get flamed
