Car is a 91 civic from oceanic (dont go there) and it was wired to multiport very shitty. any way the car threw like 4 check codes to begin with and i have gotten 3 of the 4 off. well it throws code 10 now which is Intake air temp sensor. i have baught a new sensor, and rewired it to the correct way and the car still throws the code. reset the ECU,took the negitive off the battary,after everything tried still no change. the car runs fine but i hate to have a check light in my face. if anyone knows anything i could try or whats to take a look let me know. im game to try anything. thanks

 

you bought it new?or just tried another one?you might want to check your cyl4 valves i worked on a guys car that kept throwing this code and when i pulled out his tempsensor it looked melted well we used one i new worked cleared up for 5mins i pulled it out same thing so i chacked his valves it was rocker had messed up and one valve was staying open just lil bit to long and the combustion creeped up

have you tried another ecu? I have ran across several ecus that have had constant cel no matter what you do.

 

no one else i know has a ecu i can use and my valves are all correct i have good compression and the sensor was not melted

 

try another ecu, if that don't fix it. then there is still a wiring problem.

 

first of all the car was never wired at this shop, 2nd i got the car from kurt and u know who he is so dont say this shop is the one who ran your wires, and if you want samples of how we run our wire, i got other cars here.........i dont rip nobody off.....so u better watch what the fuck you say......if u got balls to post i rip people off, then u must got balls to come to the shop thats all i gota say.............Vic

I haven't heard anything good about Oceanic Motorsports either. Not trying to start shit. Its just that I called your shop awhile back for some dseries parts. I don't know if your normal guys answered or what but i got the run around and on top of that know one seem to know what the fuck they were talking about. Very unprofessional. I wouldn't deal with them.
