I think I got this car figured out about 5 yars ago, grave robber lol. It ended up being that the cars engine bay was repainted and the ground cable was not getting a good ground and kept f'ing up the coils. Sanded off the new paint down to bare metal under the ground cable and problem solved. Moral of the story, check your grounds.
