more crx problems
my buddy bought a ls/vtec crx and there are no brakes we replaced caliper on passenger side cuz it was bad .then rebleed them and still no brakes !dose anyone have any opinons. bout to replace master cylinder i hope i dont have to though.
maybe your missing the brake lines? do you get any sorta pressure at all? Did you happen to check for leaks when bleeding the system? When replacing one caliper you only need to bleed that one caliper. You don't have to bleed all 4 in order. Make sure your bleeding in the correct order. If you have ALOT of air in the lines for whatever reason its going to take awhile to bleed the system completely. Have someone help you and start with a big bottle of brake fluid.
are the brakes really hard or do they go to the floor?

once again test your booster buy leaving the car off and pressing down on the brake pedal, 3 times or so until it gets hard. If it doesn't get a hard pedal its your booster. If it does turn the car on and it should release. And your normal pressure should be there.
Are you getting any pressure at all when you pump the peadal?

no brakes couldnt be the booster- there is a mechanical connection through the booster. check the rear brakes. if they're drum, there should be slight drag from the pads on the drums. check for leaking wheel cylinders and enough meat on the pads and drums. theyre cheap, so if there's any question about the integrity of either conponent, just replace the drums and pads. wheel cylinders are pretty cheap, too.
although most of your braking comes from the front pads, if your proportioning valve does not sense pressure applying to the rears, then it will never send pressure up front. hence, no (or very little) brakes.
