Trouble Shifting Fast
Alright heres my problem....ill drive normal and itll shift perfect.....once i get into higher RPM'S and try to power shift it wont go into gear, its like theres a wall there and wont let me put it in at all......i wanna know whats wrong and if its a big problem...i just bought to gear oil today and im going to see if that helps a little..

i would not recomend using gear oil...most honda tranny's just use reg. motor oil...most cases 10w30...i use 20w50 becuase im hard on my tranny...but gear oil will ruin the tranny...

Honda transmissions, at least the one's that I've used and delt with hate shifting at high rpm fast. You have to be fluid and controlled with your shifting above 7500rpm. They will just not go in. Im not sure if it's the tranny itself, or just a drawback to FWD shiftlinkage. I found out in my Civic that when shifting around 8K I have to do it just like Im shifting when im not beating the fuck out of the engine.
Oh, and don't fucking hold the gas down while you're shifting. That's fucking dumb.
