I have seen an ecu not throw a cel but actually malfunction & run extremely rich...
I could not explain why, but it was a stock ecu with damage which I could not repair.
Anyhow, try another ecu & see if the issue is resolved.
Are you running a stock fuel pump ?
Stock injectors etc .. ?
What vehicle is the swap in ? Aka 92 civic.... etc...
