i have an eg with a greddy boosted y8 and i just bought an a/c system from another eg (mine was fucked) I dropped it off at air muffler brake city and they tell me (after keeping my car for 2 days ) that the compressor doesnt fit...its 2 in. too long. When i had my z6 motor boosted i had the blown compressor in there just fine but when i was swapping the new motor in i took the compressor out so i dont know if it would have fit with the y8 motor. Now should it fit or do i need an ek compressor?

 

is there any way i could rotate the turbo to give enough clearance for the compressor?

You dont have any way of getting the proper compressor, or possibly a different ac bracket???

 

i dont even know what compressor to use cuz i doubt that the ek compress. is any smaller than the eg. im thinking about just getting a custom system but i dont know any shops around here that do that.

you can get a log manifold thatd clear the a/c unit.

 

i really wanna try to stay away from getting another mani that bolts up to my turbo. I hear theres a place off of 56th and hillsborough that fabricate a/c systems. i might give them a call tomorrow

 

I'm sure it would be cheaper to get another manifold...
