my car is killing me...its throwing code 8 and 9 now and thats it...im tired of this damn thing

8 TDC - top dead centre sensor
9 CYP - cylinder sensor
i know what they are but why is the car throwing them and how do i fix them

ok i put a new dizzy in 2 weeks ago and it ran ok but i needed a map sensor....then it got no spark and i just got a new dizzy yesterday and havent had a chance to put it in yet seeing how the car is in lakeland and im in brandon

i am throwing code 8 also and i replaced my distributer with a brand new OEM one and it still throws the code. i have been told that my timing belt might be off a tooth...i still have to check.
