mini-me question
im guessing your test driving,if you are the engine could be cold and not warm enough or you cant hear vtec so you assume its not working..sohc vtec operation is only on the intake side so its not going to be notice able like the dohc vtec..
ok well i bought it last night, had it warmed up,redlined it a couple of times(7,800rpm) couldnt ''hear'' vtec but it pulls pretty hard so i might not be able to hear it but the kid also said it wasnt working so.....but is the 89 hatch that was in the cars for sale forum w/the holes in the bumper and black fenders.im thinking bad wiring but i could be wrong.what ecu should it have so i know if its got the wrong one.thanks-keith
7,800 rpms
dag i think i take mine up to 7,200 and call it a day
anyway. my vtec is set up with a msd ignition box ... yea yea yea ... not the best way to run it but dayum it kix in.
wanna run ef to ef at the track?

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
