i also use motor oil, no problems recently.

I use a mix of water&sand in my tranny it works wonders....Just playin I use synthetic motor oil .....works great

I remember I had a bad grinding and winding issue in one of my trannies, on the bottle it wouldnt even go into gear, got some synchromesh and it was flawless..

is there any particular weight that you guys are using with the GM syncromesh modified?
