thanks very much guys, i know a few people but for those of you who know other people, lets get the word out about this, because SCOTT needs to start setting this up as far as a track and needs to know what size of crowd we would be dealing with.


also for those of you such as CMS, this is great for advertisement. and we could use the support of as many people as we can to cut cost to the end user.



last, if you belong to another forum, find out who i would need to talk to to get the advertising on thier site, and maybe thier support

 

i think its a cool idea.....north would be orlando and above...so itd bassically north-florida/orlando/jax and south could be tampa and below tampa/miami....sounds pretty fair...

www.JKOBD.com will sponsor it as well. Mike, I think Gainsville is definately the place to have it. Even though it is expensive, make it prepay and advertise it all over the place. Get a formal packet together and send it to all the companies for sponsorship. I promise we could get the rates down to 20-30 bucks. Contact local car dealers in gainsville, etc. When I did FSAE.com in college, I was able to raise about 25k each season with my team from local car dealers, etc.

 

thanks homer, good ideas too. but the best part is my uncle WAS the sheriff of alachua county, and his wife is a county commisioner, so im thinking i could get some help form the family in those parts of the woods.
