no way... keep the b16... it is a great tranny... that is what i would run and did run on my CX... you will not damage anything... and the turbo wont be spooled even though you are at 4200pms... the turbo needs to be BOTH under load AND over its spool RPM to spool... so dont worry about it... just drive it and have fun...

Yeah the gears are short but just as he said they are not that short and i doubt my car will ever see 130-140 in quarter mile so i think as long as i dont go on any road trips i wont do any damage to my car. Thanx for all the help and advice also keith i will let you know if i need anything.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.

a little secret for trips with a short tranny is to unplug the vtec solinoid that way you dont drive in vtec... this will save both gas and your ears if you have a loud exhaust... it will throw a code but will run fine and will shut off as soon as you plug it back in...

I dont have V-tec it is an LS motor with a B16 tranny.
