ok i me and my buddy just pulled d15b2 out of his old hatch to put in a b18a i have a b18/b16 in my 94 hatch but i wanted to build up a sohc for fun but i wanted to know if i could put d16a6 crank and pistons with LS rods in the bottomend then a built y8 head on top would it be possiable the block part i know the head will lmk thanks

the D15 block is shorter that the D16 block (heightwise) so using a D16 crank and LS rods would require the use of pistons with a relocated pin...otherwise they would push out of the block. IS it possible...YES...practical?...not really
