Default axle question .. problem

why is it that when an axle pops out of the transmission it is forever loose ? it will not "pop" back in but i can move it in and out freely ......

you would think it should be able to pop back into place ..the spring clip is still present ..

its able to move in and out freely cause the inner part is not a joint it is a hub the axel shaft goes into it with teether,it is made that way cause your car has to adjust((bumps,Uturns steering))so it slides in and out the outter part is cvjoint it is a joint for makeing left/right turns.the clips in made larger to hold the axel into the hole the semi expand to keep itinto place it must be forced in and when it pops out it can not go back in cause the cvjoint moves around and the shaft still slides in and out so there is no force to push back in the axel

what in the hell ? i appreciate your help but i dont understand a single word you said .

i know the inner joint allows for movement from the axle shaft , but the yolk has come out of the transmission . you have to beat it into the transmission untill the spring clip catches then it is supposed to stay in the transmission. but the yolk slides in and out of the transmission now allowing fluid to escape, because the spring clip does not catch. so , due to the yolk not being properly seated in the transmission , it hangs out and shakes under certain load situations. as when - cruising at 80 mph i can slightly feint the car back and forth in the lane and feel it shake ....
