What is this for? Please Help! W/pics

This is a air/fuel gauge I purchase, but I don't have the intructions for it. I have a good idea how it goes. One wire to the O2, 1 power, 1 ground, etc. But the plastic looking sensor with tape on the back WHERE THE #$%$@ DO I PUT THAT? I know someone has to know. Its a MOOKEEH PERFORMANCE GAUGE. Like always Thank You in advance!!

almost 100 % sure that it a dimmer switch .. press the white part of the circle and it makes it brighter press the dark part and it dims it ..

It's hard to tell from the picture, but to me it looks like its a waste of money.

I agree! Thank God it wasn't a lot of money. If I can get it to work Im happy.
