LsVTEC or B20VTEC
Alright TR members I just brought a 89 Crx and I'm gonna get a swap pretty soon. I have two engine in mind one LsVTEC and the other one B20VTEC. I'm not sure what engine I should go. I heard LsVTEC is pretty good. I haven't heard on B20VTEC yet.
For those who owned LsVTEC or B20VTEC Hit me some info. Oh yeah, I want this Crx to be a daily drive car too.
I was wondering how fast would a Crx swap with LsVTEC or B20VTEC bone stock on track??? Any answer?
Any help guys that be great!

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.
I have a b20/vtec set up in my teg with some basic shit and it runs awesome

thats like buying a car without even test driving it.
crx's are fast no matter what, just leave it stock.

Comming from someone who has built and blown up around 4-5 ls/vtec setups, it's not worth it. Buy a straight up gsr, and spray the dogshit outta it, you will thank me 6 months from now when your car is still running hard..
My crx with a decently worked ls/vtec on nittos and a 50 shot only ran 12.82 @ 112mph, you can get that, if not better outta a gsr on spray all day, and it can still be reliable.

my engine top end is a 93 gsr(b17a1) and bottom en 92 integra ls(b18a1) with 98 type R (b18c5 Japenese) pistons, and it really has let me down, i put out almost 200hp all motor. Did blow my tranny not to long ago...
... if you abuse it and dont take care of it, something is bound to go wrong sooner or later, and thats any car. Good luck.

its alot of money your looking at spending about as much as a gsr full swap. My last one put down 176/142. Basic lsvtec but with itr pistons. and itr intake. My new one iam going with differnt pistons and aftermarket rods. Should be around 220 250whp. I think thats a high est. though. What ever the choice it cost alot of money to do it all right.
