must be 1 of those super rare jdm closed deck cast iron sr20's. Using a GTR-R for comparison is great for magazine racing, but does jack didily squat for us in the US. the sr20vet motor a) has 12% more displacement than a type-r and b) the sr16vet didnt have 200hp
basically what that means, is you need v-tech, right???

SR = aluminum alloy block.
besides, aluminum alloy blocks are both stronger AND lighter than iron.
they are just more expensive to cast (which is why they aren't as commonly used as iron).
