Need some advice
i am new to this site so i just wanted to see if i could get some advice from some of you FI freaks!!! i am in the works of doing a turbo install on my GSR and i wanted to know what turbo manifold would you guys go with, please take price and performance into affect, im not a low baller but im not a big baller either haha.. i was leaning towards a revhard cast iron manifold (cheaper but works like a champ) or a inline pro cast stainless steel (more expensive but last longer). help a brother out haha
Please refer to the FAQ thread above before asking age old, thousand times covered questions. There is a ton of good stuff in there including a link explaining why 60-1EK just suggested the Inline Pro, in case you wondered.
everyone's jumping on the turbo bandwagon it seems...glad I'm getting off @ the next stop

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.
There are the beginnings of a bandwagon, but more and more people are coming to the realization that they don't have what it takes to maintain a turbocharged vehicle.
So before throwing caution to the wind, all the old sob stories about how turbocharging is too high maintenance are coming back again and the FI followers will wane and the strong will survive. Be ware.
Putting a turbo on a honda is nothing like driving a Jetta or likewise with a factory FI setup. Therein lies the "easy" misconception. Putting together and maintaining a Turbocharged Honda is always a pioneering adventure as every setup is different in it's own way.
Turbo + Honda - gobbs of $$ = tough stuff sometimes.

haha yall are funny... i no way am i jumping on the bandwagon!!! i would of had it done before but i am in the military and a little far at the moment to have done it in the past. i will admit that a lot more people are doing turbo installs but i think is because more and more people are educating others about it. i personally didnt know much about it but in the last year i was taken under the wing and that is what has made me go FI, plus after riding in a 12 sec ITR haha.
i will check out some old posts about the turbo mani, thanks....sorry for posting about an old topic
