Default Upgrading the Turbo on my Greddy Kit

Ok I have some extra money so I'm planning on upgrading the Turbo on my Greddy Kit for the Ls. My goals are pretty simple. I want to run about 12 psi maybe 14. I use my Ls as my daily driver so I'm not looking to over do it that much. I've already built my bottom end with wiesco pistons and eagle rods so I'm set to reach my goal. What turbo would suite my kit best without overhauling everything. Also, would I be able to keep my current manifold or would I need to switch it along with what wastegate? Thanks.

Get rid of your manifold, downpipe assembly etc.
Buy a decent manifold setup & d/p setup i.e. inlinepro, spoolinperf, along with a t3/to4e turbine such as a garett 57 trim .63 ar turbine or a precision sc61 depending on whp goals etc.

You may need bigger injectors too

yeah the greddy kit was a totaly sealed unit so to speak, there isnt much to upgrades for it. it ises mitsubishi turbos i believe, and the ones that come inthe kit are about as good as they get, plus the downpipe elbow is kind of a funky design, and you need something with an external wastegate

yeah, the only thing I hate about the Greddy Turbo is the fact that it takes too long to spool up (even once it does its pretty sad).

I was seeing boost around 3500-4K rpm with that kit.
I agree with just upgrading the turbo, 20G or another Mitsubishi/Greddy spec turbo. Get rid of that downpipe and get a custom 3" made. That is if you plan to use it as a daily driver, if not then go all out with something with more potential.

see that's what I'm seeing too (boost at 3500-4k rpm). it just feels like the car is lagging and wanting more. once it hits the whole 7-9 psi that's it. i want to turn up the boost on this thing to run atleast 10-14 psi all the time. could anyone tell me how to do that with the stupid internal wastegate?

Yes, get a boost controller and you can crank it up. See what that does for you and go from there. Did you ever get a bigger downpipe? What exhaust you running also?
