engine problems
not really quite sure what's going on, but my engine was making some strange noises yesterday.
little background... my o2 sensor has been going/gone bad for a couple weeks now, so the ecu is just dumping fuel into the engine, lots of stuttering at low speeds, etc. standard stuff. well yesterday i'm driving home from publix and the shit starts literally bucking on me. so i let off the pedal, in with the clutch, and then return to cruising, only when i do, the engine's making this noise like a rock bouncing around in a coke can... it came and went a couple of times, then when i pulled up to the house to take a look, the engine died (bad idler motor) so i just left it there.
my question to you guys: is it possible to lock up a piston/throw a rod because of the ecu being in limp mode? it sounded kind of to me like rod knock, though i can't really be sure since i've never heard it on a honda motor before.

sound's like the enigine took a shit to me 
i have ran several motors that were in 'limp' mode for a while and i never had one blow up on me ...... How many miles are on the engine , and what engine is it?

if it is actually rod knock, i'm gonna lose my shit... seriously to throw a rod because of a bad o2 sensor is fucking rigoddamndiculous.
