Yo what can i do to make My HKS Hi Powers a little louder????
is cutting out the Resanator possible??

 

why do you want to do that? just drill holes all over them and have the exhaust leaking everywhere

yeah you can cut the resonators off and it will be louder but i dont know how good it will sound tho.

damn for all of that you coulda just bought some OBX mufflers and had em welded up to the car, if sound was all you wanted

 

no im not a ricer and no mommy didnt buy me shit. I saved work money for 4 years to get this car and im still having to pay for it. I basicly want to keep the kick ass sound of the HKS but a little louder

 

Cutting the resonator off it's going to keep that kick ass sound. I vote leave it be. It's designed that way for a reason.

 

if you worked really hard for it.....don't touch it, being louder sucks....you want your exhaust to be as quiet as possible....cops looooooove loud exhaust.

 

How bout a test pipe replacing the cat would that keep the nice sound but make it a little louder

 

Remove the exhaust and sell it to someone who knows what a quality exhasut was made for and run around with open header......It should then be a little louder!
