This HCP kit WILL NOT work. As far as I know HAsport is the ONLY comany they has made a kit that will accomodate the JRSC on a B16 EF. Check PM's if interested in getting a HAsport kit.

Plenty of room between the firewall & intake manifold - there's approx 2-3" of clearance, the picture makes it hard to see it. quote from HCP, (using stock b mani) have u had experience with this Kris??? I just hate to drop another $400 on mounts when the charger was $2500 , but fuck it right

I have talked to Oscar @ JR about it, and he told me (about a year ago) that HAsport was working on a kit to fix the problem. He said HAsport have the patent on it and will be the only ones making them for now. Here's a pic of the swap with the HAsport mount kit.

Here's the link to the picture/site where it's at http://www.hasport.com/Products/Supercharger.htm

And here is one of the questions from there FAQ:

Q: Will the Jackson Racing Supercharger fit my 88-91 Civic with B16 and your mount kit?

A: Probably, we are in the process of doing an install on that kit right now with the JRSC, and if it is successful, we will add that info to our information page.

-Update on the Jackson Super Charger- Oscar Jackson had our 88 CRX and completed a supercharger installation for us. The answer is........ Yes it does fit.

Others might work, but good luck if your going to try it.

Kris

Yeah, but you have to remember, the SC drops down and goes back slightly. You need room for hoese and nipples so it'll function properly. And with the movement of the motor that last thing you want is a hole in the firewall or in the SC itself!

I am positive that the HCP works with the JR! I had this in my car and have done this in other cars. I will say though, I do not know if HCP has changed their design/fitment around since 2001 on their mount kits. Also, I would confirm the placement on the SI blower vs. the ITR blower.

I had a B18C block, B16a head and the ITR blower. You have to remove the 10mm nut that holds on the water/heater off. Then you need to bend the bracket down and out of the way of the blower. Possibly get longer hoses, but I cant remember. The MC is a close fit, but it fits fine. Also, the more boost you run the smaller the blower pulley and more room you will have. STill need to hammer the frame rail and cut the rear lip on the cross member. I can't remember what else, but I know it works.
