Nice build Dave, looks good... Im starting the build on my new motor this week, and hope to take pictures of all the progress.... Hopefully I can keep this one together just long enough to get the new, new motor done...

Just wish me luck, as this will be the first bottom end I have built, and Im gonna throw 400hp at it from the get go....

 

I never thought I would say this but I cant believe that I have built the same motor as almost the exact same as another member, Depending on whut car this longblock goes in I would like to give it a run

One question is whut ddi you do about your oils squirter clearance? I shaved mine in an upward position to avoid any clearance issues....didnt know if you took that precaution but its better safe to be sorry you know ???

 

well kinda................that makes only two of us with that setup now that I know of, but Im hearing more and more about them now that the idea is a lil more out in the open

Im hopin.......only difference between setups is prolly the valvetrain,header, and pistons. but yea its a stout build from whats in the pics and whuts listed.

 

b16a pistons for higher compression. I ran 12.3:1 without detonation problems on 93.
