yeah i saw this on the other site, i just wanted to know, if when you spec the rod bearings when using the ls crank and rods, do you spec it to gsr bearing spec, ya know just like rebuilding a gsr. it seems to me to be the most logical way but how did you do it?

since youre using an ls crank and rods you use ls bearings also

EDIt: i see what youre saying now...i mis read the question. i havent looked in a helms in a while but if i remember correctly an ls runs slightly tighter clearances than a gsr but i think they still overlap slightly and that is right around where the bearing cleances are in this motor (between .015-.017)

I woulda used ls pistons with custom domes shaped outa jb weld.
