i havent been hiding anywhere, you've been hiding i have been here at my house, you know where i live. i bet if you had a fully built motor that could rev to 10K and make power all the way up there it would see 2500 its whole life

i dont know how many of these guys have built / run b20 vtecs but ive owned one for 2 years . stock sleeves are not that week. poor/no tuning and high crankcase psi kill b20 blocks most of the time. if done right they can and will last . my block is even .5mm over bored so the sleeves are even thiner and she is still ticking . i rev my motor to 8500 and this is on 12.8 to 1 compression. im sure some will say im lucky but i know other wise.

I wonder what's the difference in volume between the stock B20 head and the B16 head as far as raising/lowering compression just from switching heads. I wouldn't mind having to install some aftermarket rod bolts if it meant a lot more reliability, the motors probably only going to see aboe 7200rpms a couple times a month. It just seems like a waste of money to spend $1500 to have a stock motor.
Building a n/a motor with less then 11.0:1 c/r is a waste of time.

very tru bro, compression wont be all that great by just slapping on a vtec head, will it work okay...yes, will it yeild massive power....no but it will give you some torque. i think its great as just a replacement motor for messing around with.

the vtec head was designed to scream, and the B20 was NOT, in stock form.

also like NA200whp said, PROPER tuning owns most people
