i dont have a "big brake kit"

but i did use power slot rotors, and now i have HAWK pads and thye bite and stop like a bitch.

i HAVE used AEM pads and were super impressed at the way they had almost no brake fade at all.

i dont recommend any real big brakes because unless you change the master cylinder too, then your stock one will still be trying to clamp its calipers with enough power to stop small brakes, not large ones.

Good and cheap don't go in the same sentance. Why are you wanting a big break setup for your car? what lines are you running? What pads?

+1 Jason, hi by the way.

My friend has a set up for race Civics which nobody can touch his braking ability. He owns Cobalt Friction down south, but it is pricey for the street. An alternative I will have availible in a few weeks, drilled/slotted OE size rotors that have been cryogenic treated matched with Cobalts pads. Good looks, good braking, increased durability for a fair price.

PM me for details.

we should have asked............leave it an NSX owner to tell us about brakes, they should know, they have the heavenly brakes oin those beasts!

i SCCA'd my car for a year and love my little brake pad/rotor set up, worked great for me and i use it in drag racing today still.

will work fine, i recommend, brake lines as well, because the brake fluid sits in there for so long it just ruins the inside, ever notice brake fluid is one color when it goes in but different when you bleed it coming out??

when you do em, bleed all of them and try to get the funkiness out. if you can go to amazon hose in tampa just measure your brake lines, tell them the fittin sizes and they can make lines for like 15 buc a piece..........just dont tell them they are brake lines, they aint supposed to make em. tell them they are clucth "hard line" replacements!!!!!

Also run a good brake fluid and flush all the old fluid out. AS brake fluid gets old it absorbs water and brings its boiling point down.
