My main goals are to run mid 13s by the time sumer comes around ...
now here are my plans for 2 proposed setups that have been lurking in my mind.
JEdelbrock intake manifold ,Edelbrock throttle body , cam gear , header and a tuned 75wetshot(undecieded on what to buy for those specified parts) (via. Neptune , hondata or something that has nitrous control ... so it will be able to make timming/fuel changes as specified) Or a greddy turbo kit (TD04H-15G) , greddy front mount , and a proper tune... (around 15psi of max boost) . Now i won't be needing all this power all the time , but my main question is this ... won't the 75shot setup be a bit cheaper , and easier on gas (seeing as it won't be seeing boost ) when i'am off the spray .But the main question is will it be as reliable if properly tuned as the turbosetup ? I'am open for suggestions .

My Crx with D16A6 runs 12.40s with a 120 shot from a direct port kit. 100k mile factory bottem end.

 

the nitrous setup will be just fine. A 75-shot is kinda weak anyways. it will be just as safe as the turbo kit. you just need to have the timing and fuel right on any engine and it will last. the turbo will make more power than the 75 shot but, you could always up the shot.
