I dont think my luck could be any better....I started out with a blown head gasket and while i was takin the head off i stripped a head bolt...that took me who knows how long to fix and now that i finally got it out and my new head gasket in and everything put back together the car doesnt start! all it does is make a spinning noise (whinning noise) anybody know why its doing that and why its not catching or anything...please let me know! i need help! thanks!

check timing and make sure you didnt crack the head , thats what i did just whining noise, sometimes i would hear it about to start but then nope, just killed a bunch of batteries before i swapped the motor

 

is the starter even turning the motor ,or is just spinning and not kicking out to turn the flywheel

 

Sounds like my prelude when my starter didnt extend into the flywheel... I hit it with a hammer and it stopped then i replaced it.

 

thanks for the replys...im gettin spark out of all of my plugs...a couple of people told me today that it could be a starter so im gonna give that a shot

 

k well i was just thinking about all of this and im not sure if its the starter because when i try to start the car my flywheel does move so it cant be the starter...
