someone is trying to sell me a sohc vtec motor with no tranny for $300 would i be able to use the tranny from my d15 on that motor.

 

yes your tranny will fit as long as its a d16,d15,d17..........

All D-series trannys fit all D-series motors. If you are going use your tranny again I hope it isnt your stock HF tranny. Those things suck horribly bad. you could pick up a SI tranny for 75-150 and it would be worth it trust me. I would atleast get a DX tranny. Just my .02 though.

 

ill sell ya my d16y7 tranny, it needs a new input shaft bearing cause it makes a weird sound, but works awesome.

 

If it is going to go in your CRX buy a cable trans, hyrdro cable conversion isnt worth the effort for a D, I am not even sure theyh make a conversion for a D series motor/trans

 

yeah, input shaft bearing is a EASY replacement.
