I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. Take out oil jet, use VTEC oil pump (DO THIS OR DIE).
You will have to wire in the vtec solinoid to your VTEC ecu.
Run 93 octane, you will have 10+:1 compression (depending on head) and anything less w/o a knock sensor will cause nasty knock...
Im assuming you're using a 1.6 CRX Si bottom end.
