Guys I got a 91 Civic and got a d16y8 to swap. I got problems trying to figure out what ECU or if I need all the wires from a 96 and up Civic. I know I have to do a MPFi convertion, but can someone tell me other than the complete engine (d16y8,intake mani.,block) what else I need PLEASE!!!
What are the OBD1 OBD2 P28 etc. I know... Im a dumass when it comes to this things!!! Thanks to all.

 

Convert to MPFI first. Then you have a couple options. If you want to run the OBD2 ecu, then you need this: Click me or this: Click me depending on what OBD2 setup you have.

Or you can convert to OBD1 and run a P28 ecu and use this: Click me.

To be able to run the OBD2 distributor, you will need to either convert to OBD1 or OBD2. Likewise for the 4 wire O2 sensors as well. It is very basic if you use one of these harnesses.

No, you will reuse your stock DPFI engine harness, rewire it to MPFI and then add my conversion harness. If you do not feel like doing the MPFI conversion yourself and want a package deal, check these guys out:
