What motor stock in 95 Accord LX

Hey guys, what motor comes stock in a 95 Accord LX, and also is it possible to add a vtec head?

sorry new to the hondas.

I have a 93 Accord LX and it has a F22, If I was you I would just swap out for a H22.....Dave

It can be done, it turns out that H-Series heads can be successfully attached to F-Series blocks, or as they call it over in Honda-Tech, the G-Series Revolution .

ya i'd either swap heads or put the h22 but im not sure yet, maybe just leave the car stock so i dont end up with reliability issues

Can't you just pop the hood and read the engine number off the... engine?
To find out tech specs on cars, I normally use Carpoint by MSN. Been pretty helpful over the years for some basic car spec info. Hope that helps.
