Default Oops??

I think I may have a short/bad connection somewhere...The car is a 90 civic Si, OBD1 conversion, SOHC VTEC swap, blah blah. It had NO problems at all before we took the motor out, now, the fuel pump doesn't cycle on and the brake lights are stuck on...Any ideas, suggestions, anything?

you are grounding out somewhere, check all your wires that were moved at all if any have been torn or anything and might be touching either another wire that is ground or some metal that is gorunded then that is your problem

good luck

I had to run a ground from my battery to the engine block. I need to get new ground wires the stock ones are really bad on my car.

okay, on the brake lights, the button is broken, had to take it apart to figure that out. the only problem that's left is the fuel pump. it doesn't appear to be turning on and IS READING EMPTY with 5 gallons in the tank...the car sat for 3 years (LONGGG TIME), could the floater be not floating anymore?

test the voltage to the wire, if it shows voltage and your fuel pump still doens't turn on then replace fuel pump and replce floater while you are there
