why do people always say ls-vtec isnt reliable? it never going to be reilable if you have some back yard mechanic build it. ive seen ls-vtec that colin from RACING INTEGRATION has built and hit over 200 whp with all honda oem internals. build about 3 years age and is still running strong today. the main question is, do i want torque or not? b16's are garbage
b16's are cheap , and best bang for the buck , ls vtec's make good power and are reliable if built right , comparing an ls vtec and a b16 are like comparing a single cam and a big block .
of course the ls vtec is going to be better as long as its built right , jsut my .02

i hydro-locked my b16 so my bottom end is basicly trash.so thats why i might go with this.i have the b16 head and other parts just need bottom end and some one to put it all in,that knows what they are doing!.......jay from jnlimports mite do the work,how is he?

since you got a b16 block, look for an ls crank, and bore the cyclinder wall to 82mm, if not dmgd, and you have a b16 with torque.

I didnt know b16 and tourque could be in the same sentance 
But seriously , if u want to keep the b16 , have the block sleeved to 84mm and rebuilt with high comp pistons ( 11-1 , 12-1 ) somethin like that , if u want to keep all moto.
