I think the next test n tune is around feb 10th...whenever you want to run is cool. Just shoot me a pm.

Looking forward to seeing your set up. My friend Eric in Cocoa bought a d15b to boost, from the sounds of it he is going to be a happy man.

I <3 D series power (and my B as well)

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

p.s. the oil pan is fine... i wouldnt change it...
My car is a 94 civic cx.... with all of it's whopping 70hp , and perhaps the crappiest geared D series transmission ever .... with no lsd ... now the d15b = 130ps (or 128hp) and i know have a lsd transmission with much nicer gearing (same as the Z6 transmission). So as you can see i've nearly improved on my car's performance by nearly (or ) 100% increment. My original plans where to go for a SIRII (OBD-I ) B16A swap .. but that would have costed 3x as much for 30 more hp , and costed me even more to improve upon ... now i can take the 2grand that is left over, invest in a turbo setup and have a fairly fast low 14sec , high 13sec car right off the bat .... (wich would have costed me considerably more to do with a B16a) my goals for now are to run mid 13s by around summer (wich should make for a fun street car) . My question to you know is this ... why not ? Why does it seem like such a stupid idea to you to swap this engine in my car ? D series parts are dirt cheap .... B series parts are not . Their are people that are running as good as mid 12s on stock internaled D series engines . That is sufficient enough for me. Not knocking on the B series ( I know they are great engines) but i just chose a diffrent less expensive path, and have learned many things along the way .

I guess it's all just a matter of personal prefrence , and what your goals are .
