Last Sat. I changed my axles and fixed my camber kit, and tonight i hear something as if its a sticky paper stuck to the tire. I pull over to feel if there is a sticker and.... Where the fuck did the tread go???? I felt a thin rubber tire. And its starting to do it on the passenger side as well. so my question is, by changing axles, does it screw up your "toe" at all? ( I had to take off the steer rods to get the sprindle out) i have a adjustable camber kit, and I adjusted it all the way towards me. is that correct ? this shit is just falling apart on me..............help

 

re adjust ur camber kit.

if my mental picture is correct all the way out toward u mean the outer edges would be worn


whst tire stance do u have / / \ \ or \ \ / /


u cant have the camber kit all the way in one direction and expect it to work right.

 

just like smoke3 said, adjust the camber kit. when you're messing with the axles you're going to need to readjust it anyways just like putting a new suspension set on.

most likely it's the wheels sitting like // \\ cuz having them inward would throw off your steering and balance of the car wayy too much to be driving daily.

 

its your toe..when you change your camber it throws it all out of wack..you must get your alignment dont..

 

I took it to my friends at Ace and they said it was when i changed the axles, also when I installed the springs and shocks I must had turned the spring out of its place while trying to get that bolt pushed through the controll arm somehow. It rides alot better now......me so happy
