did the same setup. i got a 94 1.5 bottom end(d15b7) with a 98 1.6 head(d16y. let me tell u. if ur looking for awesome hp/tq gain out of this then ur terribly wrong. u wont feel much of a difference at all. i spent $700 to do mine. i got everything done right. i was very dissapointed. sure it pulls a little harder but ud be better off just getting a d15b vtec (jdm) or a 92-95 d16z6. both these motors are better and cost just about the same.

 

is the d15b1 a 8 valve?
