I just took my sideskirts off of my del sol to clean them, and then need to be painted...my car is red (just repainted) and I was wondering if it would look good if I painted my sideskirts red, or should I just use black (oem)? if anyone has pictures, that would help greatly, thanks

 

you want to paint your body kit a color something other then the rest of the car?

 

He's talking about the stock black plastic side skirts.

I would just leave them black, because if you paint them they might start chipping then it will be really ugly

 

 

Ok...these are STOCK OEM sideskirts....they are black (flat)...that is the way they came. I want to know what it would look like if I painted them red (like the rest of the car). This is not a body kit...

 

if you could get someone to do it CORRECTLY the body color is the shizit....see sig.

 

this is more of a del sol forum question....yes it does look good and if done correctly it doens't chip, that much. I personally like the black though. www.importlove.com has a good del sol forum to ask that question. www.solsociety.com and a few others are good for that.

 

paint em! but do it right so it doesnt chip off and so its the same color....use some adhesion promotor on them to help the paint stick.
