i rode around 12-1 compression in my ls untuned and it ran fine.~jake

when i think "tuning " the first thing that comes to mine is , some sort of engine manangement ...(ie. uberdata , crome, hondata ) + dyno pulls. im not tryin to be a dick , im jsut expressing my opinon.

i am gonna get a vafc in the future and have it dyno tuned, but how can i tune it now....any suggestions on what i can do to run it leaner?

get a fuel pressure guage and retest it see what its reading at WOT.
or u can replace the stock fpr and see if the fpr is ur problem.
u can check spark plugs to see if ur running rich or lean but i think that takes a while.

agreed...try a stock fpr. did that in my freinds boosted ls..worked liek a champ.

I've had a problem with the fuel pump not turning on because of a faulty relay. it would rev up fine with lite throttle but anything more than 1/2 throttle the car would bog and stall out. it ended up being a fuse that was bad. the relay would click on and off causing little fuel pressure.
yea get a FP gauge and have some one watch the gauge while you rev it
