no but going wide open throttle will send your oil psi up which will cause it to burn oil quicker, its just a side effect that you go into vtec

if it burns oil during vtec, it'll burn oil all the time cause it's worn out!!!!!!! if it's not worn out, it wont burn oil period!!! just rebuild the damn motor and get it over with!!!!
