I was riding around with a buddy of mine, and cruising through the mall after hours on the way home, I make a turn and the sprinklers are on and the ground is wet, my tires spin so i shift a gear and it spins again but when it hits dry land its still sprinnin, and then i smelled clutch, son of a bitch! Does anyone know how much it would be to install a new one ? ive done it on tractors but dont know the torque specs on hondas. what id prefer to do is get a gsr tanny with the clutch, anyone know of a place to get these locally ? junkyards or whatnot......

Why were you going so fast in the first place? Trying to impress the 12 year olds at the movie theater waiting for mommy to get there?! If I needed a new clutch everytime I spun tires I'd need a new clutch till 5th gear

 

Maybe he shit himself while loosing control and mistaked the smell for burnt clutch.

 

 

what I was trying to get at was when the tires broke loose on the wet pavement as soon as i hit dry , the tires grabbed but the clutch did not...........

i smell my clutch once in a blue moon when i do something dumb that doesnt mean i need a new one.
