Default Exhaust Heat

I was doing some research- i am looking to change my exhaust and also avoid hot air from being sucked in by my SRI- i seen this product that is out on the market- an exhaust heat wrap- sort of like an insulator which can absorb up to 1200 degrees of heat continuously. anyone ever try this item or anything similiar to it.

heat wrap for headers has been out for a long time, and we've been using it on our race cars alot. it works great! on our big chevy's it helps keep ya from gettin burnt when reading the plugs after a pass, but it's good for keeping the temp down a lil under the hood in street cars with headers too.
