LS crank in a GSR for boost?
Just wondering about this setup.............would it be benficial?

You would have to use LS rods ontop of using the LS crank.
The only benifits are the ls r/s ratio making a bit more torque.

Yeah, as MTBER said... the stroke is slightly longer on the B18B then the C motors.
B18B rods - 3.504" , R/S: 1.571
B18C rods - 3.433", R/S 1.581
Very minimal difference.
The GSR rods/piston combo will be able to revslightly more and make hp higher in the rpm band. However the LS rods/piston combo will make slightly more tq and will be able to rev slightly lower.

i read some where on honda-tech that this combo with ls crank on a gsr block is morelike to produce some torque because the r/s. I also think that the ls crank is a bit heavier than the gsr crank too. U would have to use ls forged internals
In my opinion i kinda like this setup because its not really a lsvtec. its just a differnt crank and u got the vtec u want.

This setup would be like a LS/VTEC minus the oil lines, so high rpm stability is not as good as it would be with a GSR crank. VTEC motors are made to rev and non-VTEC motors are not. thats my $.02
