where to buy cams?

where to buy cams?
i just got a gsr and it needs valve stem seals. no big deal. so i figure, if i got the cams off, and the springs off, why should i put them back on? why dont i just put type r cams and springs on?
well i could trust someone on ebay to send the right shit, or i could use my dollar to help out the local speed shop. now, the only problem is where to find this speed shop. if anyone can help me i would definately appreciate it. im in the tampa area, and not afraid to drive a little to get to one. hook me up.

You wouldnt want to go through a "speed shop" and buy factory cams... You would be asking to be screwed.
If you want new oem parts contact Len at Barnaco Acura in GA. 8887227262
You may also want to consider pulling out your p72 pistons for a set of jdm itr pistons
If you go that route I would consider buying a set of skunk2 stage 1 cams along with a set of valve springs & retainers.
Also, try searching the local forums, you maybe able to come by used ITR cams

i bought obx stage2 cams from ebay and fucking love them better then my jun(655) and skunk2s(619$) and thay only cost me 360bucks you cant beat that and you will feel the extra power

thats what i was worried about thats why i bought them to test thay have about 5K on them now and i took it apart 4days ago to check for warpping scaring and ware but nothing thay are flawless i love them and that 5K is beatting the hell out of it at 9K 75% of driving time

LMK If your interested in a set of CTR cams brand new 0 miles. I have a set I'll sell cheap. I'd trust them before I'd trust APC's. I also have a brand new still in box set of STR Cam gears (Bronze) if interested. $600 for both, or if interested in just cams or cam gears PM me.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.
