the post gives a good idea of what to expect when getting your car tuned. i know me and MTBER may disagree on one point but i firmly believe before you hit the dyno you should get your car street tuned . it will give you best feul economy and driveablity. driving on a basemap may work but if you drive w/ a wideband and see how rich and lean you run under different driving conditions you may change your mind. just my $.02 but nice post.

I do not disagree with you.

Street tuning is definently the way to go if you have all the proper tools to do so.

Most people only have access to Dyno tuning.

No problem. I just kept getting pms with questions/assumptions about most of these topics & I thought I would write something up.

Anyone have recommendations for a good and accurate A/F meter to street tune with?? Other than the AEM UEGO. I already know that is a good one, just can't afford it right now.

And they are both trustworthy enough for tuning purposes??
Where can they be found?

Yes, they all work fine.

http://www.plxdevices.com/

Zeitronix = honda-tech

there are plenty of vendors w/ good deals on new units on HT.

Personally I wouldnt invest money into a wideband unit unless I had a forced induction setup or money to spend
