Default I was wondering...

I was wondering ...I have a b18a1 bare block sitting in my garage and a whole bunch of b16 parts and ls parts sitting around...I was was just thinking could i build a stroker motor with this set up ...I need some opinions...

B18a1 block honed out .20 over
b16a1 crank shaft
B18a1 rods
b16a1 pistons .20 over
b16a1 oil pump
b18b1 head Ported and polished

The rest i might have to get if this little experiment will work..Please give me some opinions and some info on what i could do so that i can build a decent motor...

A stoker motor implies that you increase the stroke. If you're using a b16 crank, then you're reducing the stroke. Not sure what kind of compression ratio you'll get with that crank/piston/rod choice. Piston would be low in the block.

just use the b16 head cuz its got better flow and it will up ur compression a shit load.......u will need a really good head gasket tho, cuz if its v-tech then it will have alot of pressure on it

not true the oem gasket will hold up fine. Its not the compression ratio that will affect the head gasket its the cylinder pressure.
