Thermal is one of the best. I'd highly recommend it, I run one myself.

dc sports tcs, I've got one on my 88 crx and it's quiet pre vtec and gets loud (but not obnoxious) when in vtec.

I perfer Garrett T3 muffler, but I like my TD04L mistu. muffler a lot too, anything less is just a fart pipe that loses torque to gain hp.

And if you already have a muffler like the ones above, then you don't really need a muffler, maybe just a resignator...

you know hks came out with a really nice exhaust for the crx/civic hatch, it's a little expensive but i have it on my car, it looks almost stock but has a very sweet sound to it, especially when vtec kicks in. it cost about 450 including shipping at www.importfan.com i got some kinda combo package bullshit including dc ceramic headers, so it's a pretty good deal.
