mine sounded just like that one^^^ i had the catback on my type r ek with no cat and a dc jdm itr header and it was fine inside the car but outside it was LOUD. i would get another one but my teg is too low to clear so i got the APEXi World Sport 2 oh yea on the ek i had neuspeed race springs and it would hit the ground when i got on it so i got some of these spring spacer deals from discount that raised it up like 1/2"-3/4" and that helped alot.

 

I also have the nuespeed race springs and Koni adjustable shock. Every once in a while it scraps but not that often. I have a JDM B16 with a Greddy 4-2-1 header and no cat. Inside it isn't that bad but outside and in VTEC it will pierce ears.

 

Wow terry.ho, I Love the look of that Hatch..But I don't like that sound at all....Guess I'm not going to hollow out my cat.
My N1 sounds nothing like that.....Thank goodness!!!!!!

 

Thanks for the comp. Yea it can be annoying at times. The exhaust bolts right up to the header. The motor has a bit of work so I imagine it would be a little quietier on a stock motor.

 

I had it on my car but only with a 2 1/4 pipe.... i didnt need huge piping yet... but it didnt sound bad... got a little raspy when it got up in the higher higher rpm range but for the most part i liked it.... i wanted something deeper though was too high pitch for me
