did u bleed the coolant system? if u dont it will overheat and vaporlock the block. it will build up pressure at the radiator and burp fluid back into the overflow. find the bleed port it is usually somewhere near the thermostat housing loosten it (there will be a flat head screw (loosten this first) sitting on top of a pet cock (looks like a nut...loosten this second)start ur car. and wait till it has a steady stream of antifreeze. it is messy so put a towel down. once it flows steady close the petcock then turn off ur car. it may take 2 times. but if it still does it, then u could have a bad head gasket or cracked head. if u do not have the pet cock take off the radiator cap then start ur car. then squeeze the upper radiator hose with ur hand a couple of times. then let it warm up until the thermostat opens with the cap off. as it warms up antifreeze will prolly come out so again with the towel. as soon as u see fluid rushing back into the radiator turn off ur car and put ur cap back on. sorry for the long reply, and if it doesent work..............

If you get the gauge to do the leak down Ill do it for you. Its easy just a bitch to get it at top dead center some times.

I took my new thermostat out and bought a new radiator. I think my thermos wasnt opening soon enough. It has not overheated yet so we will see... Thanks everyone for helping me out!

For all the people that said headgasket you were right. The other night my car started running like shit and overheating, so i just decided to look at my spark plugs. and one of them was wet and green. So i took my head off and my headgasket was definitaly blown. Thats my second one in a month. Well i found out one of the headbolt hole (in the block) is stripped and under high acceleration the bolt is pulling up and letting water in the cylinder, causing compression into the coolant jackets. So now im dealing with a stripped head bolt hole.
